If you’re wondering how to jump start another car because you’ve never done it before and someone needs you to help them jump start their car, worry no more. Jump starting a car is simple and easy and doesn’t need you to be an expert to do it.
If you have a car whose battery is working normally and jumper cables, that’s all you need. The rest you can do step by step.
First, make sure all the cars are off. Then, connect the jumper cables’ positive sides to both cars’ positive sides of the batteries. Next, connect your car’s negative side to one of the cable’s negative side. For the dead battery’s negative side, do not connect the jumper cable. Instead, connect the negative side of the jumper cable to any part of the chassis that isn’t painted.
